PETALING JAYA: Mixed doubles shuttlers Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei pulled off a sensational win over world No. 1 home pair Feng Yanzhe-Huang Dongping to storm into the China Masters final.

The reigning world champions fought brilliantly to come away with a 22-24, 21-19, 21-17 in a thrilling 80-minute match at the Shenzhen Arena on Saturday (Sept 20).

The victory meant that Tang Jie-Ee Wei has extended their unbeaten run after capturing the world title in Paris at the end of last month.

The world No. 3 pair have an opportunity to win their second title of the year when they take on Thailand’s world No. 4 Dechapol Puavaranukroh-Supissara Paewsampran in the final on Sunday (Sept 21).
