Hariyanto Arbi took on Ardy Wiranata in an all Indonesia clash in the YONEX All England Men's Singles Final in 1994.

Both had tasted success at the world's most prestigious Badminton ...tournament before - Arbi was the reigning champion, whilst Wiranata was aiming for a second success following his victory in 1991.

It's another All England Classic!

This time, we travel back to 2012, and the Mixed Doubles Semi Final between Denmark's Thomas Laybourn & Kamilla Rutter Juhl, and China's second seeds Xu ...Chen & Ma Jin.

A study in tactics being implemented perfectly, it was Danish fans who would be celebrating. However, the joy was shortlived - defeat in the Final against the all conquering pair from Indonesia, Tontowi Ahmad and Lilliyana Natsir, meant that the pair would never win the All England - though Rytter Juhl would win the Women's Doubles in 2018.

China's Zhang Nan & Zhao Yunlei had won their first All England Open Badminton Championship title back in 2010, and by the time 2015 came around they were Olympic Gold ...Medalists, trumphing in London in 2012.

But two succesive Final defeats, in 2013 and 2014, to Indonesia's dominant pairing of Tontowi Ahmad & Liliyana Natsir left them facing a hattrick of defeats when the teams took to the court in 2015.

What followed was quite simply one of the most dominant performances you're likely to see.
